Director of Gymnastics and Sports Program

Currently in his 20th year as a gymnastics coach, Chris is one of the longest standing members of the Gymtime family. A former elite gymnast who rose to the highest levels of competition as a student of the Brancifortes in Brooklyn, Chris is now a USA Gymnastics certified coach, teaching recreational and educational gymnastics, sports and fitness.

By the age of 13, Chris had already reached the highest level of elite gymnastics. While competing for the Brooklyn Gymnastics Center, he became one of the highest ranked gymnasts in the state of New York.

Chris began working as a coach and instructor at the Brooklyn Gymnastics Center twenty years ago. In 1994 he began working with the Brancifortes at Gymtime.

As Director of Gymtime’s gymnastics and sports programs, Chris utilizes his decades of experience to create an environment where children love to learn and teachers love to teach. His goal at Gymtime is not only to provide children with fundamental gymnastics skills and coordination, but also to give them the self-confidence they need to succeed in whatever they choose to do in the future.

“I found that I was able to do any sport—and also succeed outside of sports—because of what I learned during my gymnastics training. At Gymtime, I want to make sure every child who comes in is able to have that same kind of experience and incorporate it into their lives.”
