Gymnastics and cooking for 3-year-olds and up (without adult)
Have a little gymnast who is also curious about the kitchen? This two-hour class combines the best of our gym and cooking programs.
One half of this combo class entails mixing, stirring, beating and tasting at Kitchen Little Cooking School. Our fun-filled cooking classes focus on fresh, natural and organic ingredients to produce exciting and tasty dishes that teach children about nutrition and healthy eating.
Once the cooking portion of class is complete, children move from the Kitchen to the gym class, our USA Gymnastics-certified coaches guide them through multiple rotations. Students practice specific skills on the balance beam, bars, trampoline, vault and floor. Activities are designed to develop your child’s motor skills, strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness, and will prepare students for more advanced classes at Gymtime, and also for a variety of physical activities in their lives.
Please note: the kitchen is a controlled environment and is free of nuts, sesame seeds, mustard seeds, poppy seeds and coconut. Our trained chefs are conscious of food allergies and adapt recipes and ingredients accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s food allergy, please don’t hesitate to email us directly at info@gymtime.net.
“My daughter loves taking classes at Gymtime. She has been going to gymnastics and cooking for over two years. She always comes home with interesting recipes. Her skill level in gymnastics continues to rise. The teachers are loving and attentive and always have feedback for the parents. I highly recommend signing up for classes at Gymtime.” Lauren Posner
